Front of House Manager Position Available
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to join our friendly team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all front of house staff
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Ensure that all guests are greeted and seated promptly and courteously
- Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and service
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front and back of house
- Maintain inventory of dining room supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
- Implement and enforce food safety regulations and health code standards
- Assist with scheduling front of house staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage service
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including seating arrangements, table settings, and reservation systems
- Understanding of food safety regulations and health code standards
- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bar management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
